In the standard format, Zacian’s Limit Break ability activates late in the game—but in Prerelease, it triggers as soon as your opponent takes their first Prize card. With 140 damage, Zacian quickly becomes a threat.
Before going all-in with Zacian, consider using Alcremie, found in your 40-card deck, which has a solid early-game attack in Sweet Circle. Use Wondrous Patch to recycle Psychic Energy and prepare Zacian for a decisive strike.

Flygon features the Sandy Flapping Ability, which discards two cards from your opponent’s deck when it evolves and again when it’s Knocked Out. In a 40-card Prerelease deck, this can be a game-ending disruption tool.
While evolving from Trapinch to Vibrava to Flygon, you can slow your opponent down with Gligar and Gliscor—sturdy Pokémon that buy you time while you set up Flygon’s devastating impact.

In your Build & Battle deck, you’ll find tools like Rare Candy and Grimsley’s Move, which help evolve Pokémon quickly. With luck, you can bring out Krookodile fast and start swinging for heavy damage.
Look Out for Bonus Pulls
While your deck is preconstructed, your four booster packs offer the chance to pull even more powerful cards. If you manage to open Carvanha and Mega Sharpedo ex, you’ll gain another high-damage Darkness-type attacker to pair with Toxtricity’s energy boost.
