The brand-new Mega Evolution expansion has landed with huge excitement, and collectors are already chasing some of the most expensive cards the Pokémon TCG has seen in recent years. While the set officially dropped in Japan and the US on September 26th, Europe, Middle East, and Africa must wait until October 10th for their release due to delays.
That hasn’t stopped prices from climbing quickly. In fact, the Mega Evolutions top cards are already commanding hundreds of pounds on the secondary market, and with the set not yet widely available, we expect heavy fluctuations over the next few weeks.

Release Delay & Misprint Notes
The Mega Evolution expansion released on September 26th, 2025 in Japan and the US, but Europe, Middle East and Africa markets won’t see it until October 10th, 2025 due to logistics issues.
Play! Pokémon has also confirmed the cards won’t be legal in EMEA tournaments until October 24th, 2025, giving time for distribution.
At the time of writing, there are no confirmed misprints reported for the Mega Evolution set. Collectors should be cautious of rumours until verified by official sources.
