New Cards Revealed for The Glory of Team Rocket!

Exciting news for Pokémon TCG fans! Several new cards have been revealed from the upcoming set The Glory of Team Rocket!, which is set to release in Japan on April 18th and will become part of May’s Destined Rivals. The latest reveals include Zamazenta, Blaziken and its evolutionary line, as well as Annihilape and its pre-evolutions. Let's take a closer look at these powerful additions!

Zamazenta – Metal – HP130

Basic Pokémon

[M][M][C] Strong Bash – 70 damage. During your opponent’s next turn, if this Pokémon is damaged by an attack (even if it is Knocked Out), put damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon equal to the damage done to this Pokémon.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: Grass (-30)
Retreat Cost: 2

Torchic – Fire – HP70

Basic Pokémon

[C] Collect – Draw a card.

[R] Combustion – 10 damage.

Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: 1

Combusken – Fire – HP100

Stage 1 – Evolves from Torchic

[C] Combustion – 20 damage.

[R][C] Double Kick – 40x damage. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 40 damage for each heads.

Retreat Cost: 2

Blaziken – Fire – HP170

Stage 2 – Evolves from Combusken

[C][C] Heat Blast – 70 damage.

[R][R][C] Inferno Legs – Discard 2 Energy from this Pokémon, and this attack also does 120 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Mankey – Fighting – HP70

Basic Pokémon

[F] Wild Kick – 30 damage. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.

Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: 1

Primeape – Fighting – HP110

Stage 1 – Evolves from Mankey

[F] Drag Off – Switch in 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon to the Active Spot. This attack does 30 damage to the new Active Pokémon.

Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: 2

Annihilape – Fighting – HP150

Stage 2 – Evolves from Primeape

Ability: Vessel of RageIf this Pokémon has 2 or more damage counters on it, attacks used by this Pokémon do 120 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

[F][F] Impact Blow – 160 damage. During your next turn, this Pokémon can’t use Impact Blow.

Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: 2
