Attention, Pokémon enthusiasts! The release of the "Shrouded Fable" Elite Trainer Boxes has been postponed in both the U.S. and Europe.
For those in the U.S., the regular version of the box will now hit the shelves on August 23rd, a full three weeks after the set's initial release date of August 2nd. In both the U.S. and Europe, the Pokémon Center exclusive version is now slated for a "late August" release, instead of the previously announced "early August."
This delay comes after TPCi cited a "component delay" as the reason for the rescheduling. It seems a crucial part or accessory wasn't ready in time, causing the production hold-up for both versions of the product.
Despite this setback, the rest of the "Shrouded Fable" product line will be released as planned. However, this delay means fans will find it trickier to grab multiple packs at once, posing a challenge for deck building, especially for those gearing up for Worlds. With just two weeks left before the competition, they'll have to make do with Shrouded Fable products that only include two to five packs each.
